What is timber waste?

Timber is a term commonly used to describe wood products such as pallets, chipboard and melamine. Industrial waste timber such as old pallets and skids are commonly processed into garden mulch. This diverts waste from landfill and provides an alternative to green (virgin) timber. All your timber waste can be recycled as long as it doesn’t contain hazardous chemicals or treatments. Treated timber should always be disposed of safely, and never burnt or buried.
